Patrícia Russo Gallo

Patrícia Russo Gallo has a Bachelor in LIS from the University of Barcelona and a Master from the Catalan Open University. She is a coordinator of the Open Source Task Force for Information Professionals at the Catalan Library Association (Col•legi Oficial de Bibliotecaris-Documentalistes de Catalunya). Her main interests are open source software, information systems management and web 2.0.

I live in Barcelona (Spain). I have a bachelor in LIS by the University of Barcelona and a master in LIS by the Catalan Open University. I have just got a degree in Digital Contents Management by the University of Barcelona.

I have been working in academic and specialized libraries for the past 9 years.

At present I work as an information architect and web designer for a brand experiences company and I teach part-time at the Catalan Open University. I also coordinate the Open Source Task Force for Information Professionals, spreading open source software, projects and initiatives for information professionals.
