Assistant professor at the Jagiellonian University Director of the Institute of Information and Library Science, Krakow, Poland

The IILS JU graduate, the doctorate in the field of humanities at the University of Wroclaw, specialist in the scope of the scientific information, author of important studies about psychological aspects of research of users. Published over 40 articles, reviews and books in Polish, English and German. Is involved in teaching on the undergraduate and master’s levels, supervises master students, conducts research projects. Courses conducted in academic year 2006/2007: The description of documents, Sources of information, Formats of the description of documents, the Patent and normalizing information Research: designing information systems, information literacy, and behaviours of users of the information, issues of communicating by the user of the information with a computer.
